Prairie Dancer shaped encouragingly when fourth on his debut here nine days ago, running green before putting in some good late work to get within three and a quarter lengths of the winner. He is the one to beat on that form and should have even more to offer with the experience under his belt, so this looks a good opportunity for him to get off the mark at the second attempt for the Joseph O'Brien yard that continues in good heart (67% of horses running to form). Urban Step and the newcomer Captain Middleton are others who might have a say in proceedings.

Slieve Bearnagh - 15:50 Cork

Slieve Bearnagh is proving consistent this season and ran right up to his best when filling the runner-up spot at Gowran Park last time, keeping on well to be beaten just a length and a quarter. That form sets the standard here on weight-adjusted ratings, even with a 3 lb higher mark taken into account, and he looks sure to give another good account for the in-form Michael Halford (75% RTF). Gregory's Gift is much respected on the back of his improved fourth at the Curragh, while Grey Serge also rates a solid place prospect.

Royal Aide - 18:15 Bellewstown

Royal Aide showed improved form to open his account in a maiden hurdle at Sligo three weeks ago, staying on strongly to lead in the final 100 yards, ultimately landing the spoils by a length and a half. He was arguably value for extra and may have been underestimated by an opening mark of 112, with further progress likely given how unexposed he is over staying trips. Freewheelin Dylan, who fell last time but remains well treated judged on the pick of his chase form, and Mister Fogpatches could be the ones to give the selection most to think about.
