The punters are looking to carry on their good form

After two successful bets from four last week, the Betfair punters travel south to Brighton this afternoon, hoping to kick off the week in style.

Michael Attwater's Street Parade in the 13:00 Brighton is today's most backed horse among Betfair punters this Monday morning.

No stranger to Brighton, Street Parade has had a rather productive season to date, which includes two seconds and a win at today's venue.

The six-year-old finished very well to go close over course and distance last time out in a Class 4 event, and Betfair punters believe the drop in grade will result in another course success this afternoon.

Street Parade's main market rival, Porfin, won on the all weather at Lingfield on Saturday and is respected under a penalty, having also won at Brighton three runs ago. However, the combination of the penalty and drop back to five furlongs might just catch out the four-year-old.

Alternative bet

At a bigger price, John Butler's Haveoneyerself may well catch the eye due to red hot form his trainer is in, and with the seven-year-old having won on six occasions already, there's every chance he can bounce back to form in what looks a rather weak opener.

However, course form is key at Brighton and Street Parade's is the strongest within this line up and there's every chance his price continues to shorten closer to the off.

You can currently back Street Parade to win the 13:00 Brighton at 11/5.
