Can Andrea Atzeni steer home today's most backed?

Despite a busy day of racing, Betfair punters only have their eyes firmly on one horse, which runs in the 17:30 over at Kempton this evening...

Dubai Mile opened up at odds-on this morning to win the 17:30 Kempton but has marketing drifted thanks to plenty of support for David Simcock's Super Mo.

Having opened at 9/4 on the Betfair Sportsbook, Super Mo has been well backed into 6/5 after just one run to date.

The two-year-old finished fourth on debut at today's venue over seven furlongs, and Betfair punters believe the step up in trip will bring out further improvement.

His performance caught the eye as Super Mo raced prominent throughout, only finishing four lengths behind an odds-on Mark Johnston horse.

Andrea Atzeni was on board the winner that day, and will be hoping for further success tonight now riding Super Mo in the AW opener.

Despite Dubai Mile drifting, he's still very much Super Mo's main competitor. Having made all at Windsor last time out, Mark Johnston's horse improved from the step up in trip and utilised his experience from his debut fourth at Redcar over seven furlongs.

However, the two-year-old has been hit with a seven pound penalty for that performance, and although he has been bred to do better, Betfair punters believe the penalty may well catch him out on this occasion.

Two to keep an eye on at far bigger prices are Richard Hughes' Cinnodin at 17.016/1 and Kevin De Foy's Corsican Caper at 19.018/1.

A 26,000 guineas yearling, Cinnodin's stable have a good strike rate with two-year-old's this season and any market support should be taken seriously.

Corsican Caper, a 30,000 guineas two-year-old, is a half brother to a winner in Italy who like Cinnodin, will be looking to pick up a place if the market rivals occupy the 1-2 positions.

You can back Super Mo at 6/5 on the Betfair Sportsbook to win the 17:30 Kempton right here.
