13:15 - LULLABY MOON (1) runs for a third different trainer in as many starts, but is taken to bounce back to form returned to the scene of her impressive debut win. Her Super Sprint run was too bad to be true and she likely remains capable of better now stepping up to six furlongs. Crazy Luck won well at Salisbury and is the danger back in trip.
13:50 - POMELO (3) has an eye-catching pedigree and rates a cracking prospect after her deeply-impressive debut success at Newbury. The manner in which she forged clear under a hands-and-heels ride marks her down as potentially smart, and she can take this step up in class in her stride. Happy Romance sets a good standard on last week's York win and looks set for another big run up in trip. Isabella Giles makes up the three, though none of the field can be totally dismissed.
14:25 - Several fall into the well-handicapped but out-of-form category, with MAGICAL WISH (4) an exception given he arrives on the up. That may count for plenty and with a good-value apprentice back in the saddle, and he's very much the percentage call. Cardsharp and Cold Stare are clearly very dangerous opponents if on a 'going' day.
15:00 - The Great Voltigeur at York was more of a test of finishing speed than stamina at the trip, which didn't suit SUBJECTIVIST (2), and he's taken to bounce back having run a cracker in the Gordon Stakes here the time before. All three of his rivals are potential threats, particularly Cabaletta, who ran well in the Lille Langtry over course and distance four weeks ago.
15:35 - This looks very competitive, but the vote goes to REGAL REALITY (4), who responded very well to this headgear when an impressive winner of the Sovereign Stakes at Salisbury, and he's proven on the track having won a Group 3 over this course and distance as a three-year-old. Now that Benbatl is a non-runner, the obvious threat is Century Dream, who is very capable on his day and will relish the testing conditions.
16:10 - A case can be made for a few here but the most persuasive one is for PAST MASTER (6) who took this contest last season and signalled he's ready to go close again when a fading fifth on his return at Haydock earlier in the month. Conditions shouldn't be an issue for him and he looks attractively handicapped. Western Duke has the potential to pose a big threat if building on his recent sixth in the same race, while Dance To Paris has place claims.
16:45 - JUNKANOO (6) was sent off at long odds, yet there appeared no fluke about his course and distance victory here in July, coming with a sustained challenge to get on top in the final 100 yards. A 4 lb higher mark looks workable for Gary Moore's three-year-old and he is expected to go well again. Fantasy Believer is better than he showed at Doncaster latest, and along with Chief Exec, heads up the dangers.
17:15 - YUKON MISSION (6) was unlucky not to win on her turf debut at Pontefract just over a fortnight ago, finishing with running left having endured a troubled passage from two furlongs out. She's taken to make amends from the same mark here, at the main expense of Eastern Star, who should benefit from having a fully-fledged jockey booked and can chase the selection home, ahead of Dubai Elegance.
