Leg #1 - 14:50, Fontwell: Potters Charm to Win @ 4/91.44

Potters Charm ought to take advantage of the race conditions here, as he is clear top on official ratings, yet only gives away 4lb to the majority of runners. The Nigel and Willie Twiston-Davies-trained seven-year-old capitalised on a drop in trip and grade to win well at Windsor last time. That should have boosted his confidence, and as a Grade 1 Novice winner, he has the class to see off these rivals.

Leg #2 - 15:30, Naas: Melbourne Shamrock to Win @ 11/102.11

Melbourne Shamrock is an interesting handicap debutant, having shown plenty of ability in three staying maiden/novice events this campaign. The son of Hillstar has certainly displayed enough to be able to go close from a mark of 121 - especially with first-time cheekpieces a possible catalyst for improvement.

Leg #3 - 15:50, Fontwell: Atlantic Power to Win @ 9/43.25

Atlantic Power is a course and distance winner, who is only 5lb higher than when last successful. The six-year-old Westerner gelding showed his liking for deep ground when scoring at Lingfield earlier in the month. He has plenty of scope for further improvement in this competitive looking race.

Leg #4 - 16:30, Naas: Blood Destiny to Win @ 6/52.20

I'm keen on Blood Destiny bouncing back from a pulled-up run last time. The Willie Mullins-trained runner was never travelling at Fairyhouse last month, and it may be wise to strike a line through the run. He has previously won at this level, as well as winning at this venue and at this distance. The other two viable alternatives, on ratings, have something to prove, too, after modest efforts last-time-out.
