Horse Racing ACCA Tips: Back Andy Robson's multiple on Sunday at 9/1

Andy Robson has a Sunday Racing Multiple to consider

Andy Robson is back with a look at Sunday's racing and our man has picked out a win and three place bets that combine for a [9/1] Acca in a Betfair Sportsbook Multiple...

Leg #1 - 16:02, Naas: Goraibhmaithagat to Finish Top 3 @ 4/61.67

The improving J P McManus-owned Goraibhmaithagat is likely to mount a bold bid for success in this 3m1f Handicap Chase. The Flemensfirth gelding caught the eye in a couple of beginners' chases, prior to a fine third on handicap chase debut at this venue. He stepped up again, next time, with a smooth win here, looking like he'd appreciate further. The rise in trip, coupled with his growing experience and confidence, can see him go close.

Leg #2 - 16:37, Naas: Ballygunner Castle to Win @ 10/111.91

Ballygunner Castle was strong in the market when expected to get off the mark on second chase outing last time. The Willie Mullins-trained Soldier Of Fortune gelding was travelling and jumping well prior to knuckling on landing four fences out. His previous chase run, on debut over fences, was highly encouraging - finishing second behind a now-rated 142 runner. If he replicates that effort, I'd be confident of him landing this in style.

Leg #3 - 16:48, Warwick: Mumford's Magic to Finish Top 4 @ 8/111.73

Mumford's Magic delivered an improved chase run when winning by a couple of lengths at Doncaster. His narrow winning margin has meant that he only races from a 2lb higher mark here. The catalyst for that improved effort looked like the rise in trip to three miles, and as an unexposed type, certainly has scope for progress over this longer distance.

Leg #4 - 17:00, Carlisle: Holly Bird to Finish Top 2 @ 4/51.80

Recent hurdle winner, Holly Bird, is definitely one of the more likely winners in this moderate contest. With a whole host of inconsistent runners, the selection can find further progress eased in trip, as she travels kindly in her races. The assistance of Brian Hughes in the saddle ought to continue to assist, too.
