Takingtimeoff should go close in this Maiden Special Weight on the main track.

This well related Curlin filly ran well on debut when finishing second in a similar race at Monmouth Park last month. She held every chance in the straight, but made no impression on the impressive winner. The track was sloppy, and appeared to struggle a bit in the conditions. This race looks easier, and am expecting a much better effort. Trainer Michael Stidham has a super record at Delaware Park, and currently boasts a 28% strike rate. Anything around her Morning Line of 2.89/5 will do.

Olive's Bumpa should run well at a fair price in this $16k non winner of two races on the turf.

This filly finished an excellent second in a $30k non winner of two on the main track earlier this month. She chased the leaders in the straight, and did well to hold on to a place when the pace lifted. She had an outing on the turf at Laurel last year, finishing a closing third in a $40k maiden claimer. I think the extra yardage will suit, and the gifted apprentice Alexander Crispin takes off a valuable 5lbs. She should be a nice price, so recommend backing her at BSP.
