Horse Racing Tips: Make an appointment with Doctor for Dundalk 100/1 double

• Akmaam of interest returning from break

• Doctor Grace has course and distance form

• Alan Dudman picks 11/112.00 and 15/28.50 chances

Dundalk - 17:30: Back Akmaam

Dundalk has served the column well of late and Riverrunsdeep popped up for us on Wednesday as the sole selection winning - from a wide draw too - so never be put off by one drawn 15+.

Akmaam was on the drift this morning out to 11/112.00 this morning on the Sportsbook, and that suits for an each-way bet.

He is a previous course winner at Dundalk with form over 1m, so he'll have no problem staying or the drop to 7f and he remains feasibly treated as he scored from 67 on that occasion and runs today from 66.

The big question mark is whether he is primed and fit as he was last seen in October at the Curragh in a big field.

He tends to do his best work late on, and with three places we can go each-way, although I suspect he could drift further.

Dundalk - 19:30: Back Doctor Grace

We've got the extra place to play with in the closing 19:30 with Doctor Grace at 15/28.50 and she's of interest back at a more suitable trip at the extended 1m2f.

She was dropped down to 1m last time and was well beaten, not helped either with the jockey losing his whip, but tonight's distance is far more suitable nowadays.

A year ago she absolutely dotted up over 7f here, but she's proved herself over 1m2f too and she's another that I expect to come from off the pace.

The selection hasn't got masses in hand from her mark but I'd be disappointed if she didn't fare better than her last run with the four places on offer.
