Lingfield - 15:00: Back Count Otto

Two weeks ago, Count Otto went over so close for another Lingfield win, and he was tipped in the column too for another success, but ended up as the runner-up with what seems like an endless amount of seconds, so hopefully we can gain some compensation with him.

He ran a perfectly good race from a wide draw and did everything right - as he led, attacked off the turn, but was nabbed on the line.

The veteran hit 2.021/1 from a BSP of 8.74 and a similar sort of run will make him hard to beat surely. Indeed, he has a better berth in one this afternoon.

As a six-time CD winner, the 1lb rise to 83 is neither here nor there, but the grade is, as he's up to 0-90 standard.

Lingfield - 15:30: Back Blue Collar Lad

Blue Collar Lad is another with a perfect draw today in one, and is off a tempting mark and price for success in the following 15:30.

He was seen over 7f last time at Wolverhampton, and while drawn badly out in nine on that occasion, he ran well to finish second to a horse that was well in.

His last win came on the turf in the summer and he's off a lower mark today with Billy Loughnane on, indeed the young jockey was on for that win in June.

Blue Collar Lad is another that races up with the pace and is a more than attractive price at 13/27.50.
