Wexford - 15:07: Back Zeeband

There are so few runners at Huntingdon on Sunday I am leaving that card alone while the ground at Chepstow could be a quagmire, so Wexford it is, and Zeeband should take a bit of beating.

I put up this horse previously at Navan over 2m6f last month, and his finishing effort was quite tame with the way he checked out, so I was mega-frustrated when he came out to win over 2m on his latest start.

The minimum trip was ideal as he travelled so well in the lead, although there is still a possibility he's a bit of a thinker or perhaps not the strongest in a finish as he could have won by a bigger margin last time. Recalicitrant or not?

With that in mind, in-running layers might be out to get him at a short price, but he should trade shorter anyway with his run style.

However, I really did like the way he went through the race from the front and while it wasn't the strongest Maiden Hurdle that Leopardstown have ever staged last time, going into a handicap from a mark of 106 in this lowly class might not stop him, and there was a big enough gap to the third last time to 8L.

Wexford - 16:52: Back Full Noise

Full Noise is the switcher from hurdles to fences here and the 8yo looks off a good mark from 93 in another basement class race.

He ran over the smaller obstacles last time over 2m6f at Navan (from 102 over hurdles) on his first start for trainer Katy Brown, and it was a much better effort behind a horse who produced a personal best run in Aodhan May.

The tongue-tie helped him (on for the first-time) and it is retained today as he drops back down to 2m4f and he has more than enough pace for these sharp tracks as he won easily at Downpatrick last year from a mark in the 80s.

Trainer Katy Brown wouldn't have a ton of runners here, but she is at least 1-10 at 10% to get on the scoresheet in five seasons.

He should improve on that comeback effort and looks a big player over fences from a very attractive rating and Danny Gilligan claims 5lb.
