No trainer is hotter at the moment than Simon Crisford with a recent strike-rate at 55%

"Simon and Ed Crisford could hardly be in better form at the moment with 14 winners from their last 25 runners at an astonishing 56%."

Back Kingori @ 1.910/11 in the 20:00 at Newcastle

Alan Dudman had a 30/1 multiple land on Saturday and is in a run of form of nine single winners from the last 10 days. His Monday double comes from Newton Abbot and Newcastle...

Little should add to her fine Abbot record

Back Little Jessture @ 2.56/4 in the 16:00 at Newton Abbot

Another winner yesterday for the column with Dynamic Kate who bolted up by nearly 7L, but Mutara ran no race to miss out on a second successive double. It's now nine single winners in 10 days with a 30/1 winning double. I'm playing pretty short today with the two bets kicking off at Newton Abbot.

Little Jessture has a fine record at Newton Abbot at 11412731 and displayed her liking for quick summer ground with a relatively easy success over 2m6f at the track last time.

She also travelled beautifully to land another small pot over the same trip of 2m6f in July.

The mare is off a career mark of 92 and a 3lb higher mark than last time, but she still looks ahead of that given how well she travels, and I don't see the drop back to 2m1f as an issue at all as she has plenty of speed. It's a small field too so it is likely to be a tactical affair, and she is usually played off the pace.

Today is also a drop in class and Dorset trainer Ben Clarke is currently 4-11 at 36% this term.

Kingori should be good enough to land Maiden

Back Kingori @ 1.910/11 in the 20:00 at Newcastle

The 1m Maiden at 20:00 at Newcastle is the sort of punting race I like with a newcomer taking on a pair of limited horses that have already had enough chances to win a race.

Kingori is the debutant, and I would be surprised if he was at 10/11 come off time. In my book with the opposition, I would go 4/6 easily, and a conservative 4/7.

Tim Easterby's Red Astaire is the second favourite at 6/4, but he's already 0-6 and a standard of 67 with his official rating is hardly out of reach and aiming for the stars.

Simon and Ed Crisford could hardly be in better form at the moment with 14 winners from their last 25 runners at an astonishing 56%. The father and son combo also hold a 33% strike-rate with their 3yos on the AW.

His sire Animal Kingdom hasn't had many horses at Newcastle, but he's had a winner and it is folly to judge the 7% win-rate on just a handful of runners. Kingori also has an excellent draw in 8.
