Daily Racing Multiple Tips: Back the dynamic duo for a 6/1 Fontwell Sunday double

Trainer Neil Mullholland
Trainer Neil Mullholland has a good chance to win the Fontwell opener with Dynamic Kate

Alan Dudman was in sparkling form yesterday landing a 30/1 double at Kempton, and the two 9/2 scorers made it eight single winners in the last nine days as he picks out Sunday's Fontwell duo...

Kate a more dynamic pick than Sweet Moon

Back Dynamic Kate @ 1.910/11 in the 13:30 at Fontwell

Mostahdaf and First View were both winners at 9/2 for yesterday's column for a 30/1 successful double, and I am hoping we can maintain the good run of form with a pair of short priced runners to make a near-6/1 double for Sunday.

The opening race at Fontwell will hardly be going down in the vaults of greatest ever races, but I am surprised the favourite Dynamic Kate isn't shorter than 10/11 in the betting.

This doesn't look to have any depth at all as the second favourite Sweet Moon was well beaten last time out and her stand out run was at Newton Abbot in May, but the race didn't produce the best speed figures.

Dynamic Kate is 1-14 over hurdles but stays well, has won over CD (by 14L) and goes on good ground.

She ran in a 0-100 at Worcester recently over 3m - new territory for her, but she got the distance well enough behind a stronger stayer, while there was a yawning gap to the third.

The 6yo couldn't have won any easier previously at Fontwell, where she travelled with ease to bolt up with a wide ride from conditional Thomasina "Tommy" Eyston, who gets to claim a massive 10lb.

The 22yo Chemistry graduate is 1-1 at Fontwell this term and appears on the hot list with 2-4 at 50%, while her trainer Neil Mulholland is also on the hot list with 7-34 at 20% over the past month.

Curran's Mutara can see off Graffiti again

Back Mutara @ 3.02/1 in the 15:15 at Fontwell

With just two cards on today domestically, a rather ridiculous state of affairs awaits considering Saturday was so jam-packed and breathless. The need to get a card on Saturday really does make Sundays suffer - it does seem the day the rulers of the game forget.

I am happy to leave alone York, as I just struggle to find a winner at that track, so we play at a short-ish price again with Mutara in the 15:15 Juvenile Hurdle.

The pick here is Sean Curran's rookie, who was a bang-average 50-odd horse on the Flat, but at least has shown an aptitude for hurdling with a win and second so far.

His victory came at Stratford in first-time headgear and at least showed his ability to stay well on decent ground. He couldn't quite back it up under penalty at the same track last time behind Nigel Twiston-Davies' Flintstone, but he had beaten Graffiti previously - who travelled well and didn't find as much as anticipated in the battle.

A Milton Harris juvenile newcomer is always to be feared and I predict Cabrakan to move in the betting, and I don't mind the drift from 6/4 to 2/1 for Mutara.
