A Betfair punter was celebrating on Friday after landing a Cheltenham Festival five-fold to the tune of more than £4.5K.
What began on Tuesday with State Man's victory in the Champion Hurdle was completed by Galopin Des Champs' Gold Cup win on day four.
The 161/1162.00 five-fold tells the story of the Festival, with the quintet of bets landing across three of the four days.
All five horses were trained by Willie Mullins so this winner reflects the Irish trainer's dominance at this year's Festival.
Some may tire of watching Mullins' horses win but this bettor was certainly cheering on his five.
The bet was placed 46 days ago so this bettor had foresight and patience. It paid off beautifully and reached a perfect finale on Friday when Galopin Des Champs became the first horse since Mullins' Al Boum Photo in 2019 and '20 to retain the Gold Cup.
