The Punter: Prolific Clark a fair price at venue likely to suit
Steve Rawlings: Wyndham Clark is in search of his fourth victory in 12 starts. He made his debut in the event here 12 months ago when finishing only 48th but he's in better form this time around and looking at the result last year, he has the scrambling skills to prosper here.
On all but one occasion when he's made the cut since May, Clark has ranked inside the top 15 for Scrambling and the worst he's ranked since then is 25th in the FedEx St Jude, where he finished fifth.
He's ranked inside the top five for Scrambling five times in the last six months and he topped the Putting Average stats when he won his three titles, at the Byron Nelson, the US Open and most recently, the BMW Championship.
This is his first start since he finished only 21st at the Tour Championship so there's a chance he could be a little rusty but if he hits the ground running on Thursday, he could prove tough to beat and odds of in excess of 16/1 are more than fair.

Each-way Picks: Lee looks sharp at 20/1
Dave Tindall: While some of this week's field could be rusty after a break, Min Woo Lee will be match sharp after playing in the Presidents Cup. While it was a disappointing end for the Internationals, Lee emerged with credit from his first away appearance in the event.
The Aussie banked 2.5pts from his four matches (only two teammates scored higher) and was 1up with three to play in his singles against Jacob Bridgeman before feeling the heat of the American fightback and losing at 18.
But Lee will feel far more relaxed at Yokohama this week and he certainly took plenty of positives from his course debut in 2025. Despite a slugglish 73 start, the Las Vegas resident responded with rounds of 65, 67, 68 to finish tied 10th.
That added to previous finishes of sixth and 27th when this event was known as the ZOZO. He closed both of those with 65s.

Form stats for this week's tournament in Japan
Current Form Pick: Last time the PGA Tour saw Jacob Bridgemen he was winning the Biltmore Championship in Asheville. That victory did not come out of nowhere as the American previously finished T4 at the Tour Championship and prior to that was ninth at the BMW Championship.

First-Round Leader Tips: Back another fast start for Greyserman
Dave Tindall: Max Greyserman was one of the three players who shared FRL honours when Yokohama CC was used for the first time last year. The American also shot the joint-second lowest round of the day on Friday, carding a 63. That fast start helped him finish runner-up.
Greyserman also took second place on his tournament debut the year before. That time, Narashino played host and, once again, Greyserman hit the ground running - a 63 putting him second after the opening lap.
On that evidence alone he's of interest but just two starts ago the 31-year-old was first-round leader at the Biltmore Championship Asheville where he finished 10th.
He's an obvious pick on all of the above so back Greyserman, who tees off at 08:56 from the 1st, at 40s (1/4 Odds, 5 Places).

Open de Espana tips and predictions
The Punter: Reed a risky play but 33/1 is too big to ignore
Steve Rawlings: Having missed both the Open de France and last week's Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, Patrick Reed will be desperate to get back on the course as he bids to establish a healthy lead over Rory McIrloy at the top of the Race to Dubai standings and there's a chance he's rushing his return.
That would be the reason why he's drifted in the market since it first opened but I'm happy to take the risk given how well he likes the venue. This is the third time Reed has played Club de Campo and although he's finished only 10th and 16th in the last two years, he's sat fourth and third with 18 to play.
It's a venue that clearly suits him and that's not surprising given his remarkable short game around the greens and I was happy to chance him at 33/1 given he's no bigger than 22/1 on the High Street.

Long Odds Golf Tips: Back Hidalgo to hit the heights
Steve Rawlings: The 26-year-old Angel Hidalgo missed the cut when defending the title last year, as he did in 2024, and his 34th on his course debut in 2022 wasn't a particularly eye-catching performance but he won here wire-to- wire two years ago, beating Jon Rahm in extra time.
That was a very impressive victory and after a decent run of form, he looks a fair price to repeat the feat. After three missed cuts in-a-row, Hidalgo finished 21st in the British Masters at the end of August, but that was a better performance than it looks like on paper as he sat second with 18 to play.
He followed that with a fourth-place finish in the Omega European Masters and after a 55th in the Irish Open and a missed cut at Wentworth, he bounced back two weeks ago with a strong performance in the Open de France, where consistent rounds of 67, 66, 67 and 67 saw him finish solo second to Matt Fitzpatrick.

Course and current form stats
Course Form Pick: With victories here in 2022 and '19, it might be difficult to see past the Spaniard who starts as joint-favourite with Aberg this week. Rahm also finished second in 2024 and he will be determined to improve on last year's ninth. His current form isn't great - he was last seen missing the cut at Wentworth - but his T2 at the US PGA this year showed he can still challenge on the big stages.
