Football Bet of the Day: Defences to melt away in Iceland

Friday brought our first defeat of the week. In Norway's Eliteserien, Tromso shut down Sarpsborg for a 2-0 home win that lifts them five places clear of their vanquished foes but leaves us with nothing.

We're looking to turn nothing into something in Iceland, where top-of-the-table KR Reykjavik are on their way to bottom-of-the-table IBV. Home and away, IBV have scored in 8/11 head-to-heads with the table toppers and we like the 1.9010/11 about both teams scoring this afternoon.

Pedro Hipolito's IBV are W1-D2-L3 playing at home in this season's Urvalsdeild. They've conceded at least twice in 5/6 and we don't doubt KR's ability to find ways through them this afternoon. At the other end, however, the hosts have scored themselves in four of their most recent five appearances at Hasteinsvollur.

Runar Kristinsson's table toppers are W3-D1-L1 on their travels this term, having won each of their last three away from home. They've scored in all five of those matches and, more excitingly for our purposes today, conceded in 4/5. An upset might be beyond IBV but they look capable of at least grabbing a consolation.
