Football Bet of the Day: Super game in the Swiss Super League

Trabzonspor made the perfect start to yesterday's match in the Turkish Super Lig. The hosts scored after just six minutes and we looked well set for a handicap win. But then... Nothing. Eighty-four minutes later, the game finished 1-0 and we were a goal short. To finish the week in profit, we need a better result from Switzerland, where we fancy Grasshoppers Zurich and FC Basel can both contribute to an entertaining Super League game this afternoon.

Ninth-placed Grasshoppers are yet to keep a clean sheet at Letzigrund this term. In fact, since Thorsten Fink took charge toward the end of last season, they are 11 home games without one. They've been especially leaky of late, conceding three times in 3/4. At the other end, the hosts have scored themselves in 6/8 and, although they are clear outsiders to win today, we fancy they can at least get on the score-sheet.

Visiting Basel are second in the table, but have been similarly porous on their travels this season. Marcel Koller's men are eight games without a clean sheet, with a previous trip to Letzigrund bringing a 3-1 win. Both teams have scored in all eight of those games - and also in the reverse fixture, which Basel won 4-2 - and we have little hesitation in backing BTTS in this one.
