Celtic v Motherwell
Wednesday 19:45
In Scotland last night, the Dons didn't just defeat Dundee. They thrashed 'em. 2-0 up at the break, 4-0 up by the hour mark, they eventually won 5-1 to give us a handicap winner with something to spare.
We're sticking around Scotland and hoping for something similarly one sided today. Scottish Premiership champions Celtic are running third, albeit with games in hand. The Bhoys are a perfect W7-D0-L0 at Celtic Park this season and look set fair to make it 8/8 against Motherwell tonight.
Motherwell's last nine trips to the green-and-white half of Glasgow have brought seven defeats. In all seven of those losses, the margin of defeat was at least two goals. Last term, they went down 1-5. We fancy another shellacking is on the way today. Steve Robinson's men have lost 6/9 on the road this season, only avoiding defeat at teams now in the wrong half of the table. They've lost 5/5 visiting top-half sides, going down 1-3 at second-placed Kilmarnock and 1-7 at top-of-the-table Rangers.
Under Brendan Rodgers, Celtic have won 35/45 home league games. In 25/35 of those wins, the margin of victory was more than just a single goal. Their last three home games have brought 4-2, 5-0 and 5-1 successes. We fancy them to add another resounding win to that list this evening.
