Football Bet of the Day: Stalemate in Spain

Why always us? Deportivo La Coruna aren't involved in too many exciting games

"Not-so-Super Depor's last 25 away matches have seen them share the spoils 15 times"

Back the draw @ 3.1085/40 in Alaves v Deportivo

The goals probably won't rain in the Basque Country tonight, which is encouraging Tobias Gourlay to get quick on the draw

Alaves v Deportivo
Monday 19:45

Start never got going against Rosenborg yesterday, losing 2-0 and taking Kev down with them. Big picture, though, it was another profitable week for the young man and he can rest easy for the next seven days.

Our work begins in Spain. The first Alaves home game of the new La Liga season brought a goalless draw. Deportivo La Coruna's first away match went the same way. We fancy it'll take something special to separate them when they meet at Mendizorrotza Stadium tonight.

Since the start of the season, the six games involving one of these two have yielded just nine goals in total.

Mauricio Pellegrino's newly promoted hosts have conceded just twice across their first three games. Gaizka Garitano's visitors have the same defensive record, and a recent history of drawing a lot of away matches. Not-so-Super Depor's last 25 away matches have seen them share the spoils 15 times.
