Manchester City are 1.51/2 to win the Capital One Cup after thrashing West Ham 6-0 in the first leg semi-final on Wednesday night.

The Citizens - who have averaged over four goals per game at the Etihad Stadium this season - fielded a strong line-up including Alvaro Negredo and Edin Dzeko in attack, and it was the Spanish striker that opened the scoring with a stunning 'over-the-shoulder' volley from just inside the area after 12 minutes.

Negredo was matched at just 4.84/1 in the First Goalscorer market.

Further first half goals from Negredo and the seemingly unstoppable Yaya Toure gave City a 3-0 lead at the interval, a scoreline (by backing the Any Unquoted option) that was matched at 9.28/1 in the Half Time Score market.

Negredo completed his hat-trick early in the second half to reward those who backed him at 18.535/2 to score three or more, and a brace by Edin Dzeko later in the game completed the rout. Manuel Pellegrini's men were matched at 38.037/1 to win 6-0.

Sunderland will take a 2-1 first-leg lead to Old Trafford after beating Manchester United at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday night.

The betting highlight of this game was undoubtedly the 1.011/100 that was matched on the 0-0 scoreline in the Half Time Score market when deep into first-half stoppage time. But with virtually the last kick (or perhaps fumble) of the half Ryan Giggs scored an own goal to give the Black Cats the lead.

Nemanja Vidic - matched at 15.014/1 To Score at anytime - brought United level but a Fabio Borini penalty wrapped up the win for Gus Poyet's men.

The 2-1 Correct Score was matched at 40.039/1 In-Play, and it means that Sunderland are now into 3.02/1 (from a high of 7.87/1) To Qualify after the second leg (United are 1.4740/85).

David Moyes' men are available to back at 3.6553/20 to win the competition outright, while Sunderland can be backed at 14.013/1.
