India v New Zealand fourth T20 team news

India have an unassailable 3-0 lead. They could bring back Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy for Jasprit Bumrah and Ravi Bishnoi as they continue their rotation policy with the ball.

Sanju Samson is udner pressure for a score after three failures. With Tilak Varma back for the World Cup, Ishan Kishan's extraordinary hitting may mean he is a fight for the opening slot.

Probable India XI: Abhishek, Samson, Ishan, Sky, Hardik, Rinku, Dube, Harshit, Kuldeep, Bishnoi, Arshdeep

New Zealand were a big disappointment in Barspara, passing up the opportunity to post a big score batting first on what was an extremely flat wicket.

Presumably they were handed further evidence that they need to move on from Devon Conway at the top of the order. Finn Allen is not available until the final T20 but he should eventually form a more destructive top order with Tim Seifert.

Jimmy Neesham and Lockie Ferguson have both joined the squad ahead of the World Cup. Kristian Clarke and Tim Robinson have been released. Neesham and Ferguson should go straight into the XI, probably at the expense of Zack Foulkes and Jacob Duffy.

Probable New Zealand XI: Conway, Seifert, Ravindra, Phillips, Chapman, Mitchell, Neesham, Santner, Sodhi, Ferguson, Henry

India v New Zealand fourth T20 pitch report

There have been 11 matches under lights at Vizag in the last three years with no toss bias present. The runs per over in that sequence is 9.6. Batting first is easier with an RPO of 9.9 as opposed to 9.1 in the second. India will be expected to bust 200. The last T20i there was in 2023 when Australia's 208 proved to be insufficient.

India to win the match and both teams to hit 180 is likely to have interest at Sportsbook's 11/82.38. Both teams to score 200 is 3/14.00. It may be less stressful to take the Kiwis out of the equation, though. There should be 1.834/5 available on the hosts to go over 200 on the Exchange.

India v New Zealand fourth T20 match prediction

India are as skinny as 1.271/4 with New Zealand 4.507/2. On an expected flat batting wicket with 200 or more likely to be considered a decent score, its would be relatively easy to make a case for the visitors. However, the match odds market sees it differently.

Not so long ago a simple trade would have been an option on the outsider to make this close to a choice affair with a big total and scoreboard pressure in their favour. However, India are likely to be no bigger than 1.558/15 to go after 200-odd in a chase such is their destruction with the bat.

In the last game they chased 153 by the tenth. So a monster total is likely required by the Kiwis. In-play we would need a couple of early wickets in an India chase to find something approaching value.

India v New Zealand fourth T20 ODI player bets

On a flat one it is smart to look at batters for milestones just as we did Barsapara when Abhishek Sharma delivered on the to score a 50 market. He is 15/82.88 for the same. We were on Samson to half-salute and with the powerplay and the most time afforded it is worth revisiting the 11/53.20. We also keep faith with Seifert who can give it a tonk. He will be better for the run and may be glad that Bumrah is expected to be rested. Have a go at the 3/14.00. The shrewdest move, however, may be the 6/17.00 that we get a ton. That keeps all of India's batters on side and with them in such brilliant form, it doesn't feel like a risk.
