Barbados Royals v Trinbago Knight Riders team news

Royals chased 221 against Patriots last time out to ignite their challenge. But it was still only against Patriots. They've been wildly inconsistent and suffered hammerings against Kings and Trinbago. Rahkeem Cornwall, a centurion against Pats, is an injury doubt. Donovan Ferreira could replace Carlos Brathwaite.

Possible XI: Mayers, Cornwall, Evans, Athanaze, Powell, Holder, Ferreira Nyeem, Clarke, van der Merwe, Qais

Trinbago were beaten by Guyana at Queen's Park when they posted 176. Their XI didn't include Tom Curran for the second game running. Keep an eye out for Noor Ahmad's return post Asia Cup but this game might just come too soon for travel plans.

Possible XI: Guptill, Deyal, Pooran, Tucker, Pollard, Russell, Alleyne, Hosein, Narine, Ali Khan, Salamkheil/Noor

Barbados Royals v Trinbago Knight Riders pitch report

Trinbago's 176 was the first game in 19 that more than 160 was busted at the Queen's Park Oval. There was also a heavy bias for the team batting second (10 wins) which held for Guyana.

Runscoring could remain tricky and with the runs lines likely to stick with tournament trends, we could lay 170 or more at around 2.1511/10.

Barbados Royals v Trinbago Knight Riders match odds

Royals have been outclassed when they've come up against better sides but as this appears to be a toss game we're happy to bet them at 2.206/5 batting second. We are, though, reliant on that pitch helping out their struggling bowling unit.

If the toss goes the opposite way, Trinbago at 1.9010/11 in-play chasing is a solid wager. They'll get after anything up to 200.

Barbados Royals v Trinbago Knight Riders player bets

Brathwaite was signed as temporary replacement for Ferreira and now the South African is back we're eyeing a top-bat bet.

Ferreira won for South Africa just before his departure in a T20 against Australia and we're looking for anything from 14/115.00 with Sportsbook as soon as he's named in the line-up.

We're also looking for 13/27.50 on Andre Russell to do some damage in the middle-order for TKR. A slightly spicier pitch may get him to the crease in good time. Add him to your bet slip here.
