Sydney Sixers v Brisbane Heat team news
Sixers are expected to be unchanged for the final. They have won their last four and have coped well with the loss of James Vince and Tom Curran. Moises Henriques top scored in the first qualifier between the two.
Probable XI: Hughes, Edwards, Philippe, Henriques, Silk, Davies, Kerr, Abbott, Dwarshuis, Murphy, O'Keefe
Heat will almost certainly shuffle their pack, bringing back Mitch Swepson, the spinner, for opener Charlie Wakim. Jimmy Peirson will move back up to open alongside Josh Brown, whose phenomenal hitting set up the qualifier win over Strikers.
Probable XI: Perison, Brown, McSweeney, Renshaw, Bryant, Walter, Neser, Bartlett, Johnson, Swepson, Kuhnemann
Sydney Sixers v Brisbane Heat pitch report
At the SCG only 10 from the last 25 in all T20 have busted 160 in the first-innings. Head had an economy of 7.3 in the group stage and Sixers 7.9.
It's all set up for a short on the 20-over run line at 154.5, although it's hard to argue the quote is out. The weather forecast is good.
Sixers are 1.804/5 with Heat 2.226/5. Those odds are about what you expect given that Sixers beat Heat easily (39 runs) in the first qualifier. They defended 152 with ease, bowling out Heat for 113.
It was a rare dominant performance from Sixers, who always seem to give their opposition a chance. With confidence restored for Heat and their bowling reliable they should be capable of trading as favourites.
Look for 1.705/7 and 50% to the original stake on the lay button for all green.
Sydney Sixers v Brisbane Heat player bets
There's not a huge amount wrong on the player markets. For top bats, Sixers' Jack Edwards might be toppy at 4/15.00 as he opens.
Heat's Nathan McSweeney could use the platform to underline his undoubted class but the 7/24.50 is fair. Brown has been boosted to 7/24.50.
With the ball, Swepson and Matt Kuhnemann, mean and threatening, are possibles at 4/15.00 the pair on a wicket that spins.
