MI New York v Seattle Orcas

MI New York team news
MI New York are in the play-offs barring a net run rate swing of impossible size. A victory could take them to the all-important top two and a spot in the qualifier and the chance to go straight to the final.
Their balance was much better in their last outing against Washington freedom. They dropped Kagiso Rabada and brought in all-rounder David Wiese.
Probable XI: Jahangir, Monank, Pooran, Pollard, Hammad, David, Wiese, Rashid, Boult, Ehsan, Kenjige
Seattle Orcas team news
Seattle are top of the table and they would require a heavy defeat here and a significant run rate swing to miss out on the top two. They have won three from four but inexplicably lost to LA Knight Riders.
A failure to defend 171 is a concern particularly after ben gannon took three for 13. They appear to have an issue with their sixth bowling slot.
Probable XI: De Kock, Anwar, Jayasuriya, Klaasen, Ranjane, Shanaka, Imad, Parnell, Dannon, Singh, Tye
Morrisville pitch report
The Morrisville wicket might be getting a little better for batting. We've seen three matches with scores of more than 170. What is crucial, though, is the bowling strength on show.
Orcas average economy is 7.4 and New York's is 7.2 That suggests a par line short. Five of the six have been won by the chaser and that bias was apparent in Minor League Cricket last year. It's hard to win batting first.
MI New York v Seattle Orcas match odds
New York have done well to find a formula that works (sort of). But there's no evidence they should be as short as 1.748/11 for this one. It seems the market has been priced because there's a belief they have a greater need for the win and that never sits right.
Orcas have been pretty good and we can perhaps forgive the aberration against LA. If they get that toss bias in their favour we expect the 2.245/4 to hold and that's a fair wager.
There might be an edge for a NY bet on most sixes. They've hit 34 to Orcas' 21 and the 4/51.77 could be justified if the toss doesn't go our way.
MI New York v Seattle Orcas player bets
Quinton de Kock and Nic Pooran have been boosted with Sportsbook to 10/34.33 and 7/24.40 respectively for top NY and Orcas bat. Pooran at No 3 is a much more enticing prospect.
If there is a price which has a rick feel it's Wiese at 17/118.00 for NY.
