Desert Vipers v Gulf Giants best bets

This is a repeat of last year's final. But they're not the two best sides this time with the pair currently engaged in a battle not to finish bottom.

The match odds market can't make up its mind about who should be favourites. Rightly so. In Dubai there is a chase bias. That should separate them.

It did so in their earlier meeting this term at the same venue. Vipers got up by six wickets.

James Vince is approaching the win zone on how often he cops. The 3/14.00 with Sportsbook is a fancy for top bat.

MI Cape Town v Pretoria Capitals best bets

A win for MI Cape Town almost certainly gets them into the play-offs. After hammering Capitals this week to knock them out, they should be feeling confident.

The 1.804/5 about Cape Town could be considered value with Capitals having clearly checked out.

We've also checked out on Capitals, abandoning a strategy on Phil Salt for top bat because of poor returns pushing him out of win-rate range.

There's an interest in the Cape Town market though. Dewald Brevis has begun to find form with an unbeaten half-century against Capitals from No 4. The 7/18.00 looks toppy.

Abu Dhabi Knight Riders v Dubai Capitals

Abu Dhabi Knight Riders v Dubai Capitals best bets

The match odds market has this lined up as a chocie affair because of the bias for the chaser in Abu Dhabi. The sides are level-pegging with the same number of wins. Capitals have a a better run rate.

When they met earlier in the competition, the chase bias worked in DC's favour in Dubai as they got after 183. A Jake Fraser-McGurk blitz made the difference and with him missing due to Australia committments, Capitals might not have the same power.

It means there's not much for David Warner to beat. He has not won yet and he is just about in win rate range at 3/14.00 still

Joburg Super Kings v Durban Giants

Joburg Super Kings v Durban Super Giants best bets

The battle of the Supers but only one teams has been taking out the trash this term. Durban have qualified and are on easy street. Joburg need a bonus-point win (and defeat for CT versus Capitals) to make the last four.

The match odds market appears to be wary that Durban are not fussed. The 1.748/11 about table toppers against a struggling side at this stage of a franchise season is unusual.

We've been keen to wager Heinrich Klaasen this season but at odds of 10/34.33 we're very worried that Durban do something daft again and leave him to No 6. It beggars belief but that's the level of their smarts. Maybe it'll cost them at the business end.
