Abu Dhabi Knight Riders v MI Emirates best bets

Knight Riders were in action early on Saturday so they have a fast turnaround. MI Emirates topped the table before those games and they remain there.

We would expect Emirates to also remain at that 1.654/6 mark given the gulf between the teams. There is a possible trade on Knight Riders given the hefty toss bias for the chaser at Abu Dhabi. It paid off for them when they upset Vipers for the second time this term.

These sides met on Tuesday and Emirates dished out a hammering with Andre Russell the only Knight Rider to show resistance as they were rolled for just 95.

We're close to considerting Dre Russ again at the 5/16.00 mark for top ADKR bat with Sportsbook. Nic Pooran has been boosted to 10/34.33 for Emirates.

Desert Vipers v Sharjah Warriors

Desert Vipers v Sharjah Warriors best bets

Vipers are underperforming. They have two defeats from three and both were aghainst Knight Riders. They may argue the toss bias was against them but Knight Riders were dreadfuilly poor last term.

The issue they may have is an obsession with not using specialist batters. Wanindu Hasaranga is a spot too high at No 4. Generally they seem a batter light and Shaheen Afridi, who can give it a tonk, is starting to have appeal at 80/181.00 for top bat.

The good news for Vipers is that there is no toss bias at Sharjah so if they get their balance right then 1.705/7 against a weak Warriors team is probably toppy.

We've had a couple of cracks on Alex Hales for top bat but, frankly, he can do one. A five-ball duck on Saturday sticks in the craw and although we should often 'keep the faith' with players, it is a tough ask with this guy. If he cops, so be it. A boost to 3/14.00 would have been required rather than 11/43.75.

Durban Super Giants v Paarl Royals

Durban Super Giants v Paarl Royals best bets

Super Giants are 1.845/6 favourites for the home leg of their double header against Paarl. That seems fair considering they won at Boland Park on Friday.

But some of their decision-making is bewildering. Why would you pick Tony De Zorzi instead of Quinton de Kock as opener, thus forcing Heinrich Klaasen to bat down at No 5? Madness.

Surely they wake up. Bat Klaasen at No 3 if there is a desire to keep QDK at No 4 and open with Matt Breetzke and JJ Smuts. The longer Klaasen bats the less likely the game is to be any sort of contest. Basics.

Klaasen smashed 30 from nine balls in that game against Paarl. He can catch up fast so we're prepared to back him at 16/54.20 for an overdue win.

Back Heinrich Klaasen top Durban bat @ 16/5
