Question marks about all six runners

A trappy looking conditions race is the feature of the second Saturday of the turf season, with question marks about all six runners.

Soapy Danger missed most of the 2007 season as he recovered from a fractured pastern and was beaten on all his three starts in the autumn. Although he showed smart form, it was a little below his efforts at three when he won the Queen's Vase and Princess of Wales's Stakes.

Like Soapy Danger, The Last Drop showed his best form to date back in 2006, when he was 2nd in the St Leger at York. After creditable efforts early last season he lost his way, and it remains to be seen whether he retains his former ability.

One that retains ability but can't be relied upon to show it is Munsef, who put up his best performances last season on his first and last outings. A reproduction of either of those efforts would see him go close, but he looked unreliable on a number of occasions in between.

Furmigadelagiusta left Luca Cumani after his final start last season, but has shown fairly useful form over hurdles for current connections. He needs to improve on the best of his Flat form to land this one.

Front-running Come On Jonny routed the field in the 2005 November Handicap over course and distance but was off for 11 months afterwards and hasn't shown anything like the same level of ability in a handful of starts since.

After well over two years off the course following a serious leg injury a win for Carte Diamond would represent a highly impressive training achievement. His 2nd in the 2005 Ebor reads as well as any performance from this field.
