Stash heads the Timeform ratings. He won a maiden at Wolverhampton on debut prior to finishing three lengths third to Five Star Junior in a handicap at the same course last time, deserving credit for racing up with a strong pace. Five Star Junior boosted the form since when winning at Lingfield next time out and a return to five furlongs looks sure to suit Stash.

The Cuckoo put in a best effort when winning a handicap at this course in September but has been well held since, including on both starts for current connections. He faded after being allowed to dictate in a claimer at Great Leighs on the latest and the return to this surface will need to revitalise him.

Alan McCabe saddles La Capriosa. She is a modest handicapper who won at Southwell in January, and finished a good half-length second to Diamond Surprise in a six furlong handicap at that track last time. A reliable sort, she usually races up with the pace.

Thaumatology has left Marco Botti since finishing well held on her nursery debut at Wolverhampton last time. She reportedly lost a shoe on that occasion, but has shown just modest form to date and this drop in trip will need to uncover improvement to see her be competitive in this company.

Just The Lady faced a simple task when winning a claimer at Kempton in January and ran creditably when two-and-a-quarter lengths fourth to Bold Rose in a handicap at this course last time, ridden with more restraint than usual and getting going too late to make an impact. She has been campaigned solely at this trip and is another who races prominently.

Stuart Parr's Alimarr has shown in-and-out form and looks one to oppose at present. She looked to be regressing at Lingfield on her penultimate start and did little to dispel that notion when finishing last at this course next time. She needs further than this five furlong trip.
