Eight runners go to post for this one. Timeform tell us what they make of their respective chances....
"Fidelis has fairly useful form when placed twice in bumpers and ran to a similar level both starts over hurdles, including here last time and he shouldn't be too far away once more. "
On Borrowed Wings and Fidelis have more scope for improvement over hurdles than Aohna, and should figure prominently. However, Candy Creek wasn't far removed from the top division in bumpers last season and is in the right hands to make an immediate impact in this sphere.
On Borrowed Wings is a bumper winner who proved too good for a subsequent winner when opening his hurdling account at the first attempt at Listowel in September. He showed a good attitude that day and should go well under a penalty.
Aohna is a keen-going bumper winner who didn't have to improve to get off the mark at the third attempt over hurdles at Huntingdon earlier this month. She has fair claims, but doesn't possess much scope.
Blazing Sun made a promising start when fourth in a Ludlow bumper on debut, but failed to build on that when last seen in March and has something to prove now going jumping.
Fidelis has fairly useful form when placed twice in bumpers and ran to a similar level both starts over hurdles, including here last time and he shouldn't be too far away once more.
Forest Rhythm settled much better when landing a Plumpton bumper in May and shaped as though needing the run when down the field on return and he could figure if his jumping comes up to scratch on this hurdling bow.
Know Your Place showed ability when fourth on his bumper debut, but was far from fluent both hurdling attempts thus far, and needs to brush up his jumping in order to progress.
Quipe Me Posted's best effort in bumpers came when third here in February. He was not given a hard time when sixth at Uttoxeter on his hurdling debut last month and should be sharper for that experience.
Candy Creek is a dual bumper winner who showed smart form when winning a listed contest at Aintree in the spring. She has joined a powerful yard that do well with horses of a similar type and she is an obvious contender on her hurdling bow.
