Carl Harris' local track hosts top group action today and our tipster is very excited.

It's off to York for a fantastic four days of racing, for me the best of the year and it looks like the sun will be shining on Tuesday.

Sea The Stars is the superstar on show but it is a great shame that the Juddmonte International, a £500,000 Group One only features four runners and none from the UK. There are two other group races on the Knavesmire and some really decent handicaps, making it a great day racing.

Poet's Voice (2.15) runs in the Godolphin blue, a stable boasting a 43% strike rate over the past 14 days, from no less than 18 winners. It is fair to say that they are red hot at present and Frankie Dettori is in similar form with a 46% strike rate, visiting the winners' enclosure an amazing 16 times in the last fortnight.

Poet's Voice was victorious on his last start, winning by 10 lengths in what was only a four runner novice contest at Newmarket. He shaped as though he was a very decent colt and connections have wasted no time in stepping the son of Dubawi up to group three company here. The race is made up of a many unexposed types, but I was taken with the manner of the Newmarket success and think Poet's Voice is potentially a very good horse who hopefully will continue Godolphin's outstanding form.

Frankie Dettori takes over riding duties on Royal Destination (4.40) which is a good move. Dettori rides York better than most and is certainly riding at the top of his game at present. I think he may still be very well handicapped and open to further improvement. York will suit this four year-old better than Goodwood, and he is one of the better bets, at the prices on the card, in my view. Certainly the booking of Dettori will do us no favours on the course where he is extremely popular and will be heavily backed by the York racegoers, so it may pay to take the early prices about Jeremy Noseda's gelding. I will be having a decent bet on him, hopefully from my winnings.
