It's been a winning start to the season for the Timeform Betfair Racing Club
With horses in training at the stables of Richard Fahey, Tom Dascombe, Ralph Beckett and more, it's been a solid start to the Flat season for the Timeform Betfair Racing Club
"Sunrise Safari is widely acknowledged as a members’ favourite due to his ‘individual’ way of doing things, performed with credit at York’s Dante meeting."
The 2010 Flat season has got off to an excellent start for the Timeform Betfair Racing Club, as both Sunrise Safari and Miss Zooter have landed competitive Saturday handicaps. The latter, trained by Ralph Beckett, won a traditionally hot handicap at Newbury and she is now set to tackle the prestigious Listed Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot.
Trained by Richard Fahey, Sunrise Safari, widely acknowledged as a members' favourite due to his 'individual' way of doing things, performed with credit at York's Dante meeting following his success at Leicester and will follow a similar path to last year, when he ran in big handicaps on Derby day, Northumberland Plate day and at Doncaster's Leger meeting.
Also amongst the team currently is Saharia, a lightly-raced three-year-old trained by Jeremy Noseda, who shaped with distinct promise on his seasonal debut at Doncaster, Arabian Spirit, also with Fahey, who himself promised more to come when third on his only run of the campaign to date, plus, in Coconut Ice and Press Release, a pair of speedy two-year-olds trained by Tom Dascombe at Michael Owen's Manor House Stables.
