"Having dropped a grade and being drawn on the wide outside on a track that should suit wide runners (rain soaked Hove track usually makes the outside a little quicker than the inside), I wouldn't be surprised if he was a short price today. But providing he is better than [3.0] I think he is still worth lumping on."
Ed Nicholson Nap won yesterday - making it three wins from the last four selections. Today he looks at Hove's afternoon meeting....
Zambia has outstanding claims in Hove's 1.58pm today. Drawn in trap six, the August 2006 whelp has won the most races of the sextet and has the fastest sectional time too. In fact, no dog in the field has won more races in this grade A7 than Zambia and he has so many ticks in all the right boxes that he really rates a decent bet today.
Last time Zambia contested an A6 event and was never travelling having missed his break and trailied home sixth in a disappointing time. But he really is a dog that either wins or comes nowhere, as so many greyhounds who rely on early pace do, and a quick return to A7 (he won in this grade two runs back) can see him get back to winning ways.

Limp Home has the fastest recent time of any of the six dogs in Hove's 1.12pm, and although he may not lead the field into the first bend, I am sure he will be in the first three off the second bend - and provided he can get first run on traps five and four, I feel he could hold on from his advantageous draw in trap six.
Although Limp Home is a five year old, he should still be fast enough to beat his rivals here and back him at anything better than [3.0]. In fact, I very much expect trap five to finish second and a forecast on these two could well pay dividends too.
