15:04, Nottingham - Knights Charge one to keep on side
Knights Charge looked potentially useful on his return at Lingfield in April when beating a now-useful rival by five lengths to open his account, appreciating the step up to a mile and a quarter and looking potentially smart.
He coped fine with softer ground on his turf debut when following up under a penalty over this course and distance three weeks later, displaying a nice turn of foot to quicken into the lead and comfortably on top at the line.
Knights Charge ran a cracker on his handicap debut at Doncaster recently, too, beaten only a head, but he had to delay his run for long enough to suggest it proved the difference. He was given the Horse In Focus Flag as a result and, with that form having been franked since, Knights Charge looks very well handicapped from just 2lb higher.

16:14, Nottingham - More to come from Anton Mauve
Anton Mauve's sales price more than doubled to 250,000 guineas from foal to yearling, but he didn't show anything out of the ordinary in the starts for Kevin Phillipart de Foy and Amo racing, and was picked up for just 3,000 guineas by these connections in July.
He was shorter in the betting than previously on his stable and handicap debut at Yarmouth last month and he duly showed improved form to open his account with something to spare.
Plenty still held a chance inside the final two furlongs, but Anton Mauve found plenty, winning in the style of one who has even more to offer and, bred to be much better than his current mark, he could rack up a sequence.

17:00, Kempton - Arctic Tsar can complete a hat-trick
Arctic Tsar displayed ability in three starts over six furlongs in minor company, but he's proved a different proposition since moving up to seven furlongs in nurseries, winning both of his starts at Leicester and at this course a fortnight ago.
He took another healthy step forward for the latest of those wins, defying a 6lb rise for his Leicester win emphatically, not settling fully and hampered around four furlongs out, but finding plenty once he hit the front in the final furlong.
The handicapper has had his say again, this time raising him 12lb in the weights, but he's progressing at a rate of knots at present, and this step up to a mile could unlock further improvement.
