Joe Tizzard's stable is going great guns and that makes the Timeform top-rated Star of Affinity of interest in Newton Abbot's handicap chase for female professional and amateur jockeys.
Last season he quickly proved as good over fences as he was over hurdles and made the most of a good opportunity when winning a match at Plumpton in February.
Star of Affinity was below form on his final start at Stratford, but the yard's current form is very much a positive, and so is the booking of Lilly Pinchin who is the most successful rider under Rules in the line-up.

Another stable in good form at present, and with the 'Hot Trainer' flag, is that of Nigel & Willy Twiston-Davies who have Clap of Thunder making just his second start over fences at Huntingdon.
He won a novice hurdle at Ascot this time two years ago and has done little wrong since, including when third to some useful types at both Chepstow and Musselburgh.
Clap of Thunder showed aptitude for fences when third in a novice handicap at Market Rasen on Boxing Day last season and heads the Timeform weight-adjusted ratings here with improvement to come.

Star Time has had an interrupted career for 'Hot Trainer' Alan King, being seen out only twice early in his four-year-old season before returning from 14 months off at Kempton in May.
Since then, he has worked his way back to winning form and confirmed the promise of his previous start when running out an impressive winner under just hands and heels at Kempton earlier this month.
That was a tactical affair, but Star Time took it in style from off the pace, pulling four and a half lengths clear to earn the 'Horse In Focus' flag, and he can follow up over the same course and distance.
