A half-sister to her stable's Gold Cup winner Subjectivist and the same yard's very smart Sir Ron Priestley, Charlie Johnston's Green Area has had just the three starts to date but is improving nicely.

She only had a couple of rivals to beat in a fillies' novice at Carlisle last time but got off the mark in decisive fashion, dictating under Connor Beasley and drawing six lengths clear of odds-on favourite Peace Belle. 

The runner-up has twice run well since in much better company which gives Green Area's form a solid look and she tops the Timeform weight-adjusted ratings on her handicap debut with more progress to come.

Formerly with Paul Nolan, Western Model joined Andrew Kinirons this season and opened his account for his new yard in a handicap hurdle at Roscommon in July when proving suited by the return to three miles. 

He has been switched back to fences for his last two starts and remains a maiden over the larger obstacles but shaped as though his turn isn't far away when a good second at Downpatrick last time.

While no match for progressive winner Anodandawink, Western Model pulled clear of the rest, earning the 'Horse In Focus' flag, and he looks well treated here, 4 lb clear in the Timeform weight-adjusted ratings.

Big Bard is seeking a tenth career win for the Gary & Josh Moore yard and a return to Kempton's six furlongs may well help him achieve it, being a dual course-and-distance winner. 

His latest win in January came over course and distance in an amateurs' contest, but he's now on a 5 lb lower mark which makes him interesting here, heading the Timeform weight-adjusted ratings.

While his recent form figures aren't too encouraging, Big Bard shaped more encouragingly when a keeping-on fifth over an inadequate five furlongs at Lingfield last time, earning the 'Horse In Focus' flag.
