Decalogue was value for a good deal extra - picking up the Timeform 'sectional' flag - when off the mark at Kempton two weeks ago so a 3lb rise may not be enough to prevent the follow up.

The Jamie Osborne-trained gelding responded well to first-time cheekpieces, winning in a manner which strongly suggests more success will come his way, motoring home from a moderate position given the way the race developed

He looks sure to relish this extra distance and is fancied to win again.

South Shore continues to thrive for his current yard and his latest win at Sandown looks rock solid given what the re-opposing Maharajas Express has since achieved.  

The Blue Point gelding has now won three of his seven starts since joining Robert Cowell and he still looks fairly treated on a mark of 75 given he won off it back in 2024.

From a good draw, and with Tom Marquand booked, he's fancied to win again.

Dumfries has been cut plenty of slack by the handicapper and shaped much better than the bare result when a running-on third at Beverley last time.  

His trainer Ruth Carr currently has the Timeform 'hot trainer' flag with the yard in good form, and he's fancied to be much more prominent in the betting than on recent appearances.

Now into a weaker 0-55, he makes plenty of appeal from a mark that is 4lb below his win last August.
