15:23, Redcar - Magic Boy one to keep on side
Magic Boy showed much improved form to double his career tally in a big-field handicap over six furlongs at York in July and, though he disappointed over the same course and distance next time, he caught the eye at Ripon last month.
He was well backed on that occasion, and reversed the form with several he had met on his previous start, not getting the clearest run through from two furlongs out, but finishing with running left at the line.
Magic Boy was given the Horse In Focus Flag following that performance, marking him out as one to be interested in and, still relatively low mileage as a sprinter, he's sure to remain of interest.

15:47, Yarmouth - Javelot is a ratings choice
Javelot shaped well in a fairly useful contest over this course and distance on his debut last month and he built on that promise when opening his account at Wolverhampton recently.
He was strong in the market that day and got off the mark in straightforward fashion, having the run of the race from the front but displaying a nice turn of foot to quicken clear off the home turn.
Javelot and the runner-up pulled well clear of the remainder, and the form of that race is working out well. There's further improvement to come after just two starts and an opening mark of 72 could greatly underestimate him - he's 6lb clear of his rivals on Timeform weight-adjusted ratings with the Timeform 'small p' attached to his rating.

16:28, Wolverhampton - Em Jay Kay is on a good mark
Em Jay Kay has spent the majority of his career on the all-weather, with three of his four wins coming on an artificial surface, and he's now back on an attractive mark.
His last win came over this trip at Lingfield in January and, while he has lost his way since, he hasn't had many races, and showed a clear sign he's on his way back to form at Windsor last month.
Em Jay Kay was friendless in the betting that day, and given a lot to do, but caught the eye making good late headway under no more than a hands-and-heels ride, finishing never nearer than at the finish.
He is another who has the Horse In Focus Flag and, now 7lb below his last winning mark, he's dangerously well handicapped returned to this surface. A wide draw isn't ideal, but he looks primed to run a big race.
