Arapaho Gold has shown some quirks this season, but it hasn't stopped him getting the job done on each occasion, and he has left the impression he's growing up on his last two starts.

He overcame some adversity when winning a strong listed event over this course and distance two starts back and he confirmed himself a smart juvenile when winning the Gimcrack Stakes at York last time.

Arapaho Gold was slightly geed up beforehand, but by no means as much as previously, and he displayed a cracking attitude, making his effort when not getting the clearest of runs approaching two furlongs out, but soon found a gap appearing and was in front by the furlong marker.

He found plenty for pressure and was well on top at the line and this looks another perfect opening for him, a 3lb penalty not expected to stop him from completing a five-timer.

Boyfriend wasn't beaten too far in the Spring Cup over a mile at this course on his return and he became yet another winner out of that race when scoring at Sandown in May.

He is worth crediting for his consistency since, too, finishing placed all three starts since, and that form has a strong look to it.

Boyfriend was beaten just a neck in a competitive handicap at Glorious Goodwood two starts ago, the third having franked that form since, and he was arguably unlucky not to resume winning ways in a messy race at Salisbury last time.

He met trouble on more than one occasion, repeatedly denied a run and getting the gaps when it was too late. He remains on a competitive mark and, with this return to further not expected to be a problem, he remains one to be interested in.

Binhareer developed into a smart handicapper last year, winning a competitive event at York on his final start of the season, and he very much caught the eye on his reappearance over the same course and distance.

He did well to finish as close as he did on that occasion, racing away from the main action before finishing his race really well, and he hasn't been seen to best effect in both of his starts since.

Things didn't pan out ideally in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot after and found the emphasis too much on speed in the Hackwood Stakes at Newbury last time on the firmest ground he's encountered.

The return to a big-field handicap which is likely to be run at a true gallop will suit him much better as will the return to ground with some more ease in it.
