15:40 Ascot - Mint selection for the Crisfords
Pure Mint was a late non-runner in the Ripon Two Yrs Old Trophy on Monday due to the ground but the Minzaal colt looks all set to take in this Juddmonte EBF Restricted Novice Stakes at Ascot on Friday.
Simon & Ed Crisford's juvenile had previously looked a talented prospect at Ripon on debut when bolting up by over four lengths and that form was franked by the third home who came out and won his novice at the same track.
Entered in the Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes, he has the potential to improve again and looks up to defying a penalty in this company (was clear favourite for the Listed Ripon contest he was withdrawn from).

16:15 Ascot - Osbornes reloaded at Ascot
Jamie and Saffie Osborne teamed up to land the Big Ascot Food & Wine Festival Classified Stakes last year with Hickory and they could well repeat the feat with Malachy's Wish.
The Showcasing gelding looks well in on these terms and is 1lb clear on Timeform ratings after two career-best efforts at Lingfield and Kempton on his last two starts.
All-weather form often translates well to this sand-based track and the Timeform pace map suggests he could be well positioned towards the front here in a race where there isn't likely to be more than an even gallop.

16:48 Ascot - Go Hard in Ascot Hospitality
Hard Endeavor caught the eye of the Timeform analysts with a very encouraging run in second at Sandown last time where he was immediately nominated as a Horse In Focus.
Lower-mileage and more progressive than many his age in this sort of company, he was only caught up the hill by a similarly progressive type in Indalo and that looks strong form in the context of this Ascot Hospitality Handicap.
The aforementioned Hickory looks the chief threat, but Hard Endeavor is half his age and those fresher legs can help him get his head in front for Jane Chapple-Hyam under Rossa Ryan.
