16:00, Thirsk - Anyasi looks a good prospect
Anyasi made his debut in what turned out to be a good race at Leicester last season and he's built on that promise to win both of his starts this year.
He was strong in the market and won with plenty in hand on his return in soft ground at Yarmouth in June, comfortably beating a next-time-out winner, and he looked potentially smart when following up at Leicester last time.
That was on firmer ground but it wasn't a problem and, though he probably didn't beat much, the manner of his performance marked him out as one to keep on side - he has the Horse In Focus Flag. An opening mark of 90 looks a fair one and he's got a favourable draw in stall 20, so there is plenty to like.

17:10, Goodwood - Hauteluce has more to offer
Hauteluce is on a progressive path, winning two of her last three starts, both on the all-weather, and she looks ahead of her mark returned to turf.
She did well to overcome a modest pace to come from towards the back of the field at Southwell last time, produced to lead in the final furlong and always doing enough.
That performance can be marked up further when taking her closing sectional into account - she has the Sectional Flag as well as the Horse In Focus Flag - and, provided she proves just as effective on turf, she can prove a subsequent 5lb rise in the weights a lenient one.

18:55, Goodwood - Veil of Clouds weighted to defy a penalty
Veil of Clouds wasn't seen to best effect on handicap debut over six furlongs at Wolverhampton last month, but she proved herself well handicapped when opening her account by six lengths at Lingfield 11 days ago.
She made a mockery of her mark, in fact, better away from the stalls on that occasion and never giving her rivals a sniff as she made all of the running, impressively quickening clear in the straight.
Veil of Clouds was given the Horse In Focus Flag as a result, marking herself out as one to follow, and she ought to take some stopping on that form provided the switch back to turf isn't a hinderance.
