As a son of Havana Grey, it would be somewhat fitting if Addison Grey could land the handicap highlighting his father's stud career.
Trainer Clive Cox has appeared to target this event and will no doubt have one eye on the 'greys' handicap at Newmarket in August with his four-year-old who shaped well enough in defeat at Newbury last time.
Although beaten at the Berkshire venue, the selection was only a length and three quarters behind impressive scorer Far Above Dream who has since finished placed in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot.
