Chelmsford, 18.00 - Back Bishop's Glory @ 6/17.00
A 0-50 Classified sprint is hardly top of the list for reliable punting mediums, but Bishop's Glory could be peaking at the right time to register a third career success today.
Trainer Joey Ramsden has made a low key start to his career since returning, but there has been evidence he remains adept at placing horses well and his son of Cotai Glory looks to have everything in place to run another big race.
The selection's last four starts have all taken place over the minimum trip and on each occasion he has looked like another furlong wouldn't go amiss, especially at today's venue where he was doing all of his best work late in a near identical contest.
The selection is often one of the slowest in his races to reach 20mph on the RaceIQ metric and that shouldn't be a concern now that he steps back up in trip, while his finishing speed percentages are often one of best recorded, albeit at a basement level.

Chelmsford, 19.00 - Back Edergole's Gift @ 6/17.00
Trainer Conrad Allen doesn't boast a huge string these days, but the likes of Mick's Spirit and Edergole's Gift have proved the veteran handler can still do the job and the latter may have been found a winning opportunity in this Class 6 handicap.
The selection was agonisingly beaten a short head by the Lingfield winning machine Dandy Khan when last seen as the addition of cheekpieces brought a reversal in fortunes for the mare who finished off powerfully close home to force a photo.
Those cheekpieces have been discarded for this event, but Allen's charge won over course and distance last October without them, so she makes plenty of appeal from a handy inside draw.
