Ryan Moore: Some big chances among my six rides at Naas on Sunday

Ryan Moore has a good book of rides at Naas on Sunday

The Group action continues at Naas on Sunday with Ryan Moore taking six rides on a quality looking card in County Kildare...

"She is a Caravaggio half-sister to the French Oaks and Nassau winner Fancy Blue and she looked a very exciting filly when winning for me at Naas."

- Ryan Moore on Contarelli Chapel

Drop back in trip could suit

13:40 - Woodland Garden

I didn't ride her when she was third on her debut at Gowran. That looked a decent first effort though, and maybe the step down in trip will suit this sister to The Gurkha better, too.

Reasonable mark judged on maiden win

14:10 - Khartoum

He was just a touch too keen for his own good in the Craven last month but hopefully that run will have taken the freshness out of him and he can build on the promise he showed last year when winning his maiden at the Curragh. A mark of 92 looks reasonable on that run.

Looking forward to riding him again

15:10 - Cadamosto

I thought he was very good when winning for me at Dundalk from a couple of horses with experience last month, including runner-up Silver Surfer, who re-opposes here. This will obviously be tougher and he has a 3lb penalty, but he looks a pretty good, sharp sort and I am looking forward to getting on him again. He has an obvious chance.

Exciting filly has an obvious chance

16:10 - Contarelli Chapel

She is a Caravaggio half-sister to the French Oaks and Nassau winner Fancy Blue and she looked a very exciting filly when winning for me at Naas. I think that was a decent race too - the third has won since - and hopefully she can confirm the impression she made on that debut. A filly to look forward to but let's see how she fares in this Group 3 first. It looks a fair enough race but, again, she has an obvious chance.

Smart colt has a big chance in this Group 3

16:40 - Lipizzaner

He was a smart and consistent colt at two, getting plenty of experience, and he shaped well when third in what I thought was a strong Listed race at Navan on his return. The winner has since come out and followed up at Cork in very good style. This is a competitive Group 3 but he definitely has his chance.

Has a chance at these weights

17:10 - Admiral Nelson

He ran a couple of good races after winning on his debut, finishing fourth in the Richmond and when third in his final start at two at Dundalk. And I thought he shaped okay in the Coventry too, just eight days after his debut. An unpenalised 3yo, he gets weight here and he has a chance.
