Ryan Moore enjoyed a winning start to the flat season at Newmarket riding a Thursday treble and he is in action at Navan on Saturday with five rides, including a couple on The Antarctic and Emily Dickinson who he says should run well...

Five strong chances for Betfair Ambassador Ryan Moore
-
The Antarctic and Emily Dickinson look to have big claims
-
A couple of newcomers also of interest
Nice pedigree but the race will tell us more
14:20 - River Tiber
We run the Wootton Bassett colts River Tiber, who was pulled out because of the heavy ground at the Curragh last Sunday, and Unquestionable, and obviously both have a lot to recommend them on pedigree. I would have happily ridden either, as they have clearly both shown up well enough at home to be out relatively soon, but, as ever, the track is the acid test of ability with the youngsters.
Juvenile form makes him the one to beat
15:30 - The Antarctic
Aesop's Fables won on this card last season and was certainly not disgraced in his two attempts in Group 1 company afterwards, and there is little between him and my mount, The Antarctic. The latter's 2yo season really was one of steady and constant progression, picking up his Group 3 for me before chasing home Blackbeard in France and then in the Middle Park on his final start.
He is the one to beat in here on his juvenile form, especially getting 2lb from the top two, and we have been very happy with his progress since last term.
Decent prospect will enjoy step up in trip
16:05 - Jackie Oh
Once again, we have two credible contenders in here and both clearly have plenty to recommend them after just the one run and one win. Diamondsareforever is actually having her first start for the yard, having joined it after winning at Dundalk in December, and the beautifully bred Jackie Oh impressed when getting the better of me and subsequent winner Red Riding Hood over 1m at Naas on her debut.
You'd have to hope the step up in trip with suit my filly, being a Galileo, and she looks a decent prospect on what we saw at Naas. She should go well.
Could be a big player in staying races
16:35 - Emily Dickinson
We have two in here with similar form chances yet again. Bolshoi Ballet only had the one run last season but we know how good the Grade 1 winner is on his day, and this will tell us whether staying will be his game this year.
We know Emily Dickinson stays well, having rounded off last season with a good 2m win from Baron Samedi in a Group 3 at the Curragh, having earlier acquitted herself very well in Group 1 company, including the St Leger. She could kick on again this season in the bigger staying races, but this is a fair test in its own right.
Nice colt with stamina in his pedigree
17:40 - Queenstown
He is a brother to our Irish Oaks runner-up Rain Goddess, so he has plenty of stamina in his pedigree, and the Galileo colt will hopefully appreciate this starting point of 1m5f. We obviously don't know what he is up against, with three of the four others in here being newcomers too, including Changingoftheguard's brother Galileo's Compass, but he is a nice colt.
