Recorded back-to-back wins on all-weather last year, the second coming over C&D. Seen to good effect in a strongly-run race at Newcastle on final outing that year and understandably looked rusty when sixth of 15 at that venue (7f) 10 months on. Seemingly hard to train but return to 1m will suit.

A useful handicap which seems sure to make for strong form. PRINCLING shaped encouragingly back down in trip after 3 months off (gelded since in interim) when third in a minor event at Ascot last time and looks on a good mark now returning to handicap company. Fellow 3-y-o Portcullis won both his starts back in the spring and remains open to significant improvement, while there could easily be more to come from Murashah, who's 2 from 2 for Ed Bethell.
