Inishfallen has been luckless in recent runs but has been running consistently well since joining Stephen Thorne from the Brian Meehan yard. He has recorded form figures of 54442 at Dundalk since making his debut at the track in December, and is now 5lb lower rated than on yard debut behind Little Queenie.
When last seen, the five-year-old was only just denied by Sporting Hero over 6f at the track. He had a wide draw to contend with which didn't help his cause, but was a horse to take out of the race.
Bidding for only a second career win having failed to finish in front since in his second start as a juvenile in a Kempton maiden, Inishfallen has shaped with great promise since, achieving a career-high rating of 102 with a narrow defeat to Aablan at Group Three level but things haven't quite fallen right for him to land another victory.
This could be a feasible opportunity for Inishfallen under champion jockey Colin Keane and he could be worth keeping onside.

Course-and-distance winner Punk Poet is now 9lb lower than his last winning mark when successful over this trip at the track in September. He hasn't been disgraced in recent efforts and could be good enough to make the frame from 4lb lower rating than his latest run when sixth of 14 runners here recently.
The experienced nine-year-old is making his 77th career start in this mile contest, seeking a tenth win. Trained by Edward Lynam, he has a huge amount of experience at this venue and still retains ability despite being in the twilight of his racing career.
From a workable mark, Punk Poet could be able to put in a competitive effort under Keithen Kennedy. Whilst he hasn't been quite at his best in recent outings following a short break, he has dropped significantly in the weights which could allow him to pose a threat.
