Course-and-distance winner Pink Oxalis is currently only 3lb higher than her last winning mark with Jack Kearney claiming 3lb in the saddle as she bids for a fifth career win. She hasn't been at her very best in her latest couple of runs but was beaten only a length at odds of 14/115.00 at Gowran Park earlier in the season when behind useful fillies Rion Rubette and Greydreambeliever.
A likeable type, the five-year-old daughter of Carvaggio should be able to give a good account of herself in this field and could be worth keeping onside. She has proven course form and should pose a threat for Stephen Thorne.

Top weight Son Of Hypnos put in a decent effort in his second start for Ryan Chapman in the spring when third to Western Cross at Exeter. He has failed to build on that performance in two outings since, but is equipped with a first-time visor along with a tongue-tie this time around which could spark enough improvement to see him put in a competitive effort.
The nine-year-old gelding is now 6lb lower than his last winning mark with Jack Stenhouse claiming 3lb in the saddle. He makes appeal at the weights should he return to form and may be worth keeping the faith in from a workable mark.

Nine-year-old gelding I Am Spider Man returned to form over this course-and-distance in May when beaten only half-a-length by Supreme Yeats at odds of 14/115.00. That was his second run for Barry John Murphy having switched yards on a few occasions in recent years, and he has made the frame on three occasions since, performing well.
Now 4lb below his last winning mark, I Am Spider Man could be capable of making a long-awaited return to the winners' enclosure and bouncing back from his recent seventh at Market Rasen. He was far from disgraced when last seen but is capable of better and has made the frame twice here this year, therefore could make it third time lucky in the hands of Callum Pritchard.
