William Haggas-trained filly Lilt shaped with promise when beating a field which included 280,000gns purchase Hollywell Stream and Harper Violet, a half-sister to Inisherin, on debut at Doncaster. She showed a good attitude and tenacity to prevail on that occasion, sticking on well in softer conditions over the 7f trip, and this step up on sounder surface could well suit.
Out of a mile-and-a-quarter winning, dual Grade One winner in Dank, and a half-sister to Group Two-placed and dual Listed winning Doom, the daughter of Lope De Vega has class in the family and there could be plenty of further improvement to come from her. She's unexposed and is entitled to show progression having had the benefit of a racecourse experience, making her an interesting contender under Tom Marquand.

Eddie and Patrick Harty-trained Gegenpressing is bidding for a hat-trick of wins in this race and makes appeal from a mark of 49 with course form in his favour. He holds leading claims under Declan McDonogh on the back of a decent return to action at Navan when last seen finishing fifth in heavy ground.
Now 4lb below his last win, the experienced eight-year-old, who makes his 60th racecourse appearance, is well treated at the weights and should put in a bold bid in familiar surroundings.

Charging Thunder hasn't been at his very best in recent runs but caught the eye in defeat on his reappearance at Kempton and wasn't beaten far in second when last seen at Beverley. He'll need to show further improvement to make an impression here, but is on a workable mark of 90 which could allow him to be competitive.
Now 2lb below his last winning mark, the eight-year-old is well treated at the weights at his best and, if able to take another step forward from his latest run, could make his presence felt in a race that should suit.

You Make Me Smile ran well in defeat when last seen at Gowran Park, staying on well late on to place at odds of 9/110.00. She could be worth keeping onside on the back of that effort and makes appeal at the weights under 4lb claiming Reese Holohan.
The course-and-distance winner won this race twelve months ago from a rating of 40 and, although she's 17lb higher now, she has been able to show she can be competitive from a higher mark since and performed well from a 1lb lower rating in her latest run.

No Nay Never filly True Love made a successful step up in trip to 7f when last seen at Leopardstown, landing Group Three honours in good style on that occasion. She has the benefit of a recent run coming into this race and should give a good account of herself under Wayne Lordan.
Last term, the talented filly was highly tried and was able to claim Group One success in the Cheveley Park Stakes over 6f here, adding to her pair of Group Two wins earlier in the term, including in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot.
She showed great potential and ability as a sprinter, but could be capable of further stretching her limits as she steps up to a mile and has enough class and speed to put in a bold bid should she stay this extra furlong.
True Love is out of an extended 1m1f Listed winner in Alluringly, who once chased home the great Enable in the Cheshire Oaks over a trip just shy of a mile-and-a-quarter, before going on to produce 1m1f Group Two winner Lily Pond, who placed over the middle distance.
There's plenty to like about True Love's chances and profile, and she has enough in her favour to suggest she can pose a threat.

Another to note in the 1,000 Guineas is a big-priced contender in Spicy Marg. She shaped with great promise as a sprinter last season, recording three successes from seven starts including in Listed company over 6f here, where she beat subsequent Nell Gwyn Stakes winner Azleet by a couple of lengths.
Whilst the daughter of Starspangledbanner must prove herself in tougher company over this longer distance, she gained plenty of valuable experience last term, recording black-type, achieving a rating of 100 in the process. She's a half-sister to two winners over a mile, therefore isn't a forlorn hope at coping with this extra trip, and could be worth keeping onside at huge odds considering the talent she has shown during her debut campaign.

Five-year-old mare Thatwilldoso is one to note each-way in this mile-and-a-quarter Cork handicap from a rating of 79. She's 7lb higher than her latest success but only 1lb higher than when second to Speckled Meadow at Naas in her penultimate start.
The Kevin Thomas Coleman-trained contender has had a recent run this season, too, and could take a step forward from that outing and fare better this time around. She has previous course form and could be capable of outrunning her odds under Jamie Powell.
