Naas, 15:00 - Back Catch The Beast E/W @ 33/134.00

At a big price, Edward Cawley-trained Catch The Beast could be capable of outrunning his odds under Philip Byrnes.

The eight-year-old is on a rating of 116, 11lb above his sole win when beating recent winner Dancing Jeremy by a convincing 10-lengths earlier in his career, but has been able to perform from a higher rating since then. He was fifth to Lucky Zebo when on a mark of 122 in a Listed Cork handicap hurdle a couple of years ago, and finished a creditable sixth to Letos when sent off at 80/181.00 from a 3lb higher rating at Naas on reappearance in November.

Despite being pulled up when last seen, excuses can be made for the gelding and it could be worth keeping the faith in him as he bids to add to his one win. He is lightly raced making only his 12th start over hurdles, having also been seen over fences, and makes each-way appeal at a price of 33/134.00.

Hereford, 15:10 - Back Not Sure @ 10/34.33

In veterans company for the first time, Not Sure is an interesting contender for Kerry Lee, capable of posing a dangerous threat on the back of a promising second at Chepstow. He was beaten only by The Big Reveal when last seen, a length-and-three-quarters behind the winner, when outrunning odds of 12/113.00 to make the frame under Conor O'Farrell, who retains the ride.

Nine days on, he should be able to hold his own having shown significant improvement on his penultimate outing at Ffos Las when pulled up on the back of a 243-day break. Now 3lb lower than his last winning mark, the 10-year-old gelding represents an in-form yard that has saddled two winners from their last four runners.

This could be his time to strike and he holds leading claims as he bids for a fourth career win at the 27th attempt.

Naas, 15:30 - Back Minella Sixo E/W @ 10/111.00

Gordon Elliott-trained Minella Sixo holds each-way claims in this qualifier. He hasn't been seen to best effect in recent runs but could be potentially well treated from a rating of 129 under Jack Kennedy. The seven-year-old is making only his tenth start over hurdles.

Following a point win, he landed his maiden hurdle in convincing fashion as the 11/102.11 favourite, winning by eight-lengths, before finishing second to Potters Charm at Cheltenham. He returned to winning ways in an novice event at Thurles, before chasing home the likes of Pray Tell, The Big Westerner and Mozzies Sister in Graded company.

Things haven't worked out favourably for Minella Sixo since that promising start, but he remains a horse with potential and should be capable of making the frame if returning to form.

Naas, 17:00 - Back Park Of Kings E/W @ 20/121.00

Eight-year-old gelding Park Of Kings is one to note each-way for Paul Nolan in the Naas finale. He must improve on his recent efforts over fences on handicap debut as a chaser, but appears potentially well treated from a mark of 126 based on his hurdles form.

Last season, the son of Walk In The Park finished a length-and-three-quarters fourth to Deep Cave in a competitive handicap hurdle at the Aintree Grand National Festival, following on from a fifth-placed effort in the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham. He was rated 123 in both of those efforts at the spring festivals, outrunning odds of 25/126.00 and 12/113.00, respectively.

Whilst he's yet to prove himself as a chaser, finishing down the field in chases won by Irish Panther, Predators Gold, and Pourt Joulain, he remains open to further progression in only his fourth start over fences and there could be plenty of improvement to come from him.
