Course-and-distance winner Big Gossey has plenty of great track form at the Curragh and could make his presence felt in this field for Charles O'Brien and Robert Whearty.
The popular nine-year-old couldn't land a blow in Group One company when last seen, but finished second to Power Blue in a Group Two here during the summer following a Listed win on Irish Derby Day. He is more than capable of posing a threat in Group Three company on a going day and makes each-way appeal at double-figure odds of 10/111.00.
Bidding for a 13th career win in his 94th start, Big Gossey cannot be underestimated in these familiar surroundings and could make the frame.

Curragh, 16:20 - Back Blake E/W @ 20/121.00
Noel Meade-trained Blake hasn't run on the Flat in 343 days and has been absent since his second in the Champion Novice Hurdle at the Punchestown Festival in April. He could prove well-handicapped from a rating of 94 if ready to go on his return, however, and did win when fresh in his previous start on the level when beating Navy Waters at odds of 16/117.00 in a Leopardstown handicap.
Currently 7lb higher than in his previous success in this sphere, he does have noteworthy form from earlier in his career for Peter Chapple-Hyam which could suggest he remains well-treated at the weights. He narrowly beat Ebt's Guard, who went on to achieve a career-high mark of 106, in a Sandown handicap, and also showed form in a competitive Epsom handicap won by Persica, finishing ahead of Grey Cuban.
There could be more to come from Blake in this sort of contest and he is one to note each-way under Colin Keane, having shown top class form during his debut campaign over obstacles, too.

Curragh, 16:20 - Back Galileo Dame E/W @ 18/119.00
Galileo Dame is a classy performer on her day and achieved more black-type with a Listed third behind stablemate Beset under Chris Hayes, who retains the ride, when last seen. She emerged with credit when fourth in the Chester Cup earlier in the season, and has previously shown a high-level of form both over obstacles and on the Flat.
From a mark of 92, the likeable five-year-old makes appeal, holding each-way claims if able to enjoy a favourable trip. She is 1lb lower than her appearance on the Roodee, and performed well in her latest start at Galway which was encouraging coming into this handicap.
