Horse Racing Tips: Katie Midwinter's best bets on Monday including 11/1 Ballinrobe pick

Top weight Loingseoir could be worth keeping onside having caught the eye in defeat on a number of occasions this season, running on well late in the day in some of his previous outings. He's an experienced performer, making his 78th career start, and is on a workable mark from which he can be competitive under 5lb claimer Jack Cleary.

The 10-year-old is 3lb higher than his last winning mark, when a 28/129.00 winner at the Curragh in the autumn, having dropped from a rating of 73 to his current rating of 69. He's stepping back up in trip, too, which could help his cause based on his latest efforts and, despite being in the twilight stages of his racing career, has proven he still retains plenty of ability and could pose a threat.

Windsor, 19:20 - Back Amazonian Dream @ 5/42.25

Course-and-distance winner Amazonian Dream has been running consistently well in recent months and could finally return to the winners' enclosure in familiar surroundings from a mark of 72.

Now 17lb below his last winning mark, the Rod Millman-trained contender has plenty of valuable experience in his favour and represents an in-form yard under the in-form Oisin Murphy. He has finished second in both of his latest two runs, bumping into one better rival on both occasions, but this could be his time to strike and he makes appeal.

Earlier in the year, the seven-year-old was able to put in a couple of competitive efforts from a higher rating, including when narrowly denied by Hierarchy from a 3lb higher mark. He still retains plenty of ability and may be worth keeping the faith in.

Beverley, 19:30 - Back Glenfinnan @ 9/43.25

Likeable gelding Glenfinnan won over course-and-distance in May when rated only 1lb lower. He returned to form to win by a neck over Physique on that occasion before finishing a length second on his return to the track when last seen.

From an unchanged mark of 79, Glenfinnan should be capable of posing a threat under in-form Callum Rodriguez in familiar surroundings. He runs well at the track and is on a workable rating, making appeal at the weights.

Trained by Michael Dods, Glenfinnan has won from a much higher rating in the past and should make his presence felt in this field as he bids for a sixth career win.

Shane Crawley-trained Trishuli River hasn't been at her best in two Turf runs this year, but had been in good form on the all-weather at Dundalk over the winter, including when winning from a mark of 69.

Currently rated 52, the six-year-old mare is on a significantly lower mark on this surface having failed to strike on it as of yet, but she hasn't been disgraced on a couple of occasions in this sphere and could perform better than in her latest run from a lower rating.

Most of her Turf runs came earlier in her career and, although she has failed to threaten on this surface in recent seasons too, she has put in a couple of performances from which she can build and could exploit her low rating with a good effort under Jack Cleary.

Beverley, 20:30 - Back Copper And Five @ 2/13.00

In the penultimate race at Beverley, an extended mile Classified contest, course-and-distance winner Copper And Five is one to note under Joanna Mason as he bids for a seventh win in his 58th start.

The experienced 10-year-old has shown he still retains ability this season with a couple of competitive efforts at the track during the spring, finishing second twice in handicap company, including in a 14-runner field when beaten only half-a-length.

Whilst he failed to make a significant impression at Thirsk when last seen, the return to this track could spark some improvement and he may find better luck in this field. He could prove worth keeping onside for trainer Ruth Carr.
